Opportunity to absorb tranquility
Spring walk from Conistone, Upper Wharfedale
I enjoyed having the opportunity to absorb the tranquility of the Dale along with Susanna's timely inclusion of God's Word whilst trying to discern His Voice. A very well planned and thought out route - just perfect all round!

Refreshed and renewed
Spring walk from Hubberholme, Upper Wharfedale
I really appreciated how much careful thought and preparation had gone into my retreat walk before it even began. It helped me to feel open-hearted and ready for what God might have in store. Susanna has a real gift for being responsive; I truly enjoyed myself and felt refreshed and renewed by the experience. It is definitely something I would recommend to people I know!

The Lord is here
Early Spring walk in Upper Wharfedale from Conistone
It's been lovely to find space to chat through some stuff I've been wrestling with over the last couple of years. Susanna has been patient, kind and accommodating throughout the whole process. "The Lord is here. He's been talking all day."

Worship God mind, body and spirit
Late Autumn walk from Hubberholme, Upper Wharfedale
This is a unique setting to engage with God. Trust Susanna to come up with something that's just right: there's a really good process for preparing for the walk. We enjoyed being able to worship God - mind, body and spirit, and were refreshed by being in good company with fellow believers.

Time to chat and time for tea!
Early September walk in Upper Wharfedale from Conistone
It was a beautiful route, one I had not done before. Susanna had prepared well and gave me some very relevant Bible verses and helpful pictures that she had received for me in prayer. The walk was well structured with time for reflection, time to chat and time for tea! It was a lovely time of refreshing for me.

Energy giving time
Summer walk from West Burton, Bishopdale:
It was a great walk, an excellent choice of route, in good company. We appreciated having someone pray for us at the start, being led and being given a word from God. Communion and time to reflect was ace :). We liked the beautiful surroundings, learning more about nature, and the opportunity to write thoughts down. Energy giving time with friends and family.

Godly wisdom
Summer river walk from Grassington to Ghaistrill Strid
I liked the peace, the beautiful scenery...the space to talk and to receive godly wisdom in return (like a sounding board). I also liked Susanna’s patience and gentleness. We went at a comfortable pace for me and I achieved much more than I thought I could. I came away feeling peaceful and closer to God with lots to think about and process. Loved every minute of my day which felt safe and well thought out. I would highly recommend it.

Delight in the small things of God's creation
Spring walk in Littondale, from Litton to Foxup
Susanna made it very easy to relax and enjoy the walk in beautiful surroundings and delight in the small things of God's creation that we so often overlook... I also appreciated the time that Susanna had spent praying and preparing, and enjoyed the time spent prayerfully
sitting by the river at the start of the walk. Spending some of the walk in silence, pondering what direction God is leading me in was helpful.

Place, pace & pauses tailored around me
Summer walk in Yockenthwaite meadows, Langstrothdale:
I enjoyed walking along the river looking at the wild flower meadows and hearing the bird song. Susanna was an excellent guide tailoring the place, the pace and the pauses around me, I enjoyed the quiet companionship, occasional conversation and her knowledge of the flowers. Susanna you were an excellent shepherd in enabling me to get the best of the time and the walk, I felt very safe and comfortable and well cared for the whole time. I felt really special and I am looking forward to my next time.

Quiet reflection
Midsummer walk from Kettlewell to Starbotton
I enjoyed the quiet reflection, a walk at a pace I could manage, conversation, quietness, beautiful countryside and the best of weather. The whole experience had been prayerfully thought through and the reflections were spot on. I would recommend this to anyone considering a reflective walk.

Time to drink it all in
Early spring walk in Upper Wharfedale/Langstrothdale:
Together with the glorious weather and the peaceful unspoilt surroundings (no background traffic noise - just the sound of curlews, lapwings and spring lambs!) it all made for a wonderful extended morning out. Plenty of time for chat and sharing our enjoyment of Nature, but also time to walk in silence and just drink it all in. Susanna is a great walking companion
